Terms of Service
Last updated: Nov 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of jonsbond, including the website, feed, Company Pages, Requests for Quotation (“RFQs”), proposals, messaging and related services (together, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Platform on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company, and “you” includes that company.
1. Intermediary Role
Notice: jonsbond operates solely as a B2B connection and discovery network. We do not inspect goods or collect funds. Users must verify the Commercial Register and Tax ID before transferring any money.
jonsbond is solely a technology platform for discovery and networking between businesses. We provide tools that let buyers and suppliers find each other, publish RFQs and showcases, exchange proposals and communicate.
jonsbond does not, at any time:
- purchase, sell, manufacture, inspect, test, certify, store, ship or take title to any goods;
- act as an agent, broker, distributor, escrow holder or payment processor for any user;
- become a party to any quotation, purchase order, contract or other transaction between users.
Any agreement you reach with another user is made directly and exclusively between you and that user. Verification badges, supplier scores, profile strength indicators and similar signals are informational only; they are not an endorsement, certification or guarantee of any user, product or claim.
2. Buyer & Supplier Liability
You are strictly and solely responsible for your own commercial decisions. Before entering into any transaction with another user you must conduct your own independent due diligence, including at a minimum:
- verifying the counterparty’s identity, Tax ID and registration in the relevant commercial register;
- requesting and checking certificates of analysis (COAs), certifications, licences, specifications and samples;
- inspecting goods, or appointing an independent inspection agency, before shipment or acceptance;
- agreeing and securing payment terms, Incoterms, delivery schedules, warranties and dispute-resolution mechanisms in a written contract;
- complying with all applicable import, export, sanctions, tax, product-safety and consumer laws.
Buyers are responsible for the accuracy of their RFQs and for their payment obligations. Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, quotations and product information, and for the quality, safety, legality and delivery of the goods and services they offer.
3. Fraud & Default Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, jonsbond disclaims all liability for any loss or damage arising from dealings between users, including without limitation:
- fraudulent, misleading, inaccurate or infringing listings, profiles, RFQs or proposals;
- non-delivery, late delivery, short delivery, or delivery of defective or non-conforming goods;
- payment defaults, chargebacks, non-payment or insolvency of any user;
- breach of contract, misrepresentation or any other act or omission of another user.
You release jonsbond, its officers, employees and affiliates from all claims, demands and damages of every kind, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with disputes between users. We may, but are not obliged to, review content, investigate reports or suspend accounts; doing so does not make us responsible for any transaction.
4. Accounts and Company Pages
You must provide accurate, current information and keep your credentials secure. You may create Company Pages only for businesses you are authorised to represent, and you are responsible for the activity of team members you invite. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- post false, fraudulent or misleading content, or impersonate any person or business;
- offer goods or services that are illegal, counterfeit, sanctioned or infringe third-party rights;
- send spam, harvest user data, or circumvent security or access controls;
- use the Platform to launder money, evade sanctions or commit any other unlawful act.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, at our discretion.
6. Your Content
You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant jonsbond a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the Platform. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including attached documents and media.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. jonsbond makes no warranty that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any information on it — including information supplied by users — is accurate, complete or reliable.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, jonsbond will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goods, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the fees, if any, you paid to jonsbond in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless jonsbond from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your transactions with other users, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.
10. Changes and Termination
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it. You may ask us to close your account at any time. Sections 1–3 and 7–9 survive termination.
